Dyaptive Systems Inc. Adds Tier 1 Vendor to Expanding Customer List

Major NEM's robustness and stability test program to be built around Dyaptive DMTS-9000 UMTS Network Test System

Vancouver, BC – June 11, 2009 – Dyaptive Systems today announced the receipt of a purchase order to supply a large-scale DMTS-9000 UMTS Network Test system, for testing performance and scale of UMTS Radio Access Network equipment and End-to-End networks, from one of the worlds leading wireless infrastructure manufacturers. The DMTS-9000 UMTS Network Test system is offered on the expandable, flexible DMTS series platform that also supports CDMA, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ and LTE. The DMTS-9000 UMTS version of the platform supports the generation of up to 1,000 simultaneously active UMTS UEs per cabinet, on up to 64 sectors, and on multiple carriers per sector.

The flexible DMTS series reduces test cycle time, improves test coverage and uncovers load and performance related system problems before networks are deployed. The Dyaptive system provides for precise control over various UE capabilities, bands and operating versions to precisely model real world scenarios. The DMTS-9000 UMTS Network Test system provides for the generation of complex traffic models with user defined loads from both voice and high speed data applications. The DMTS series also provides the unique advantage of supporting multi-RAT (Radio Access Technology) testing as wireless infrastructure equipment vendors and operators work through the challenges of overlaying next generation wireless technologies on top of existing wireless networks.
