Dyaptive Appoints Tricomtek in Korea as Distributor for Base Station Load and Performance Test Systems
Mar 26, 2007
Vancouver, Canada – March 26, 2007 - Vancouver BC based Dyaptive Systems Inc., has appointed Tricomtek in Seoul, Korea as a reseller of their 'DMTS' series of products for the Korean region. Tricomtek will resell Dyaptive’s Base Station load test, performance test and capacity planning systems to manufacturers and network operators of wireless equipment.
Dyaptive Systems is recognized as the world leader in wireless load test solutions that allow mobile operators and manufacturers to verify network equipment under load and to measure and predict user experience. Creating real-world traffic, including RF, in the lab is essential for bringing quality products to market. Without the ability to simulate such traffic, it is impossible to determine how a base station, wireless network or access terminal react to different traffic profiles or new data services. It brings the “city in your lab” one step closer to reality.
Dyaptive’s DMTS solution:
Reduces the number of escaped defects and the cost of field integration testing
Validates service performance and capacity before deployment
Increases operational test efficiency, and
Reduces test cycle times
"This is an exciting development for Dyaptive," said Walter Stein, President and CEO at Dyaptive. "We have a lot of interest for our products from the Asia Pacific region, appointing a technical company as experienced and service oriented as Tricomtek will help us secure this business and manage our customer relations. It will be a real boost to what is already a very good year for Dyaptive."
"At Tricomtek we recognize the mobile industry's need for predictive load testing technology said SangKu Lee, Managing Director at Tricomtek. “We have, therefore, teamed up with Dyaptive to provide potential customers in the RF communication industry with Dyaptive’s load testing solution providing comprehensive CDMA 1XRTT, 1xEV-DO and W-CDMA interfaces.
"Dyaptive's solution is a compelling innovation because it takes the question marks out of quality," said Deb Mielke, Managing Director of Treillage Network Strategies. “Network performance is inherently load-dependent, but simulating peak loads hasn't been easy or affordable with traditional test technologies. Vendors and service providers have sought a tool for performing predictable, deterministic, repeatable tests, so Dyaptive has identified a clear industry need."
Dyaptive Systems currently has offices in Vancouver BC (head office), and Shanghai China, and is in discussions with potential distributors in India, Europe and Taiwan in an effort to further strengthen their sales channels to support current interest in their solutions.
